YNPN relies on volunteer committee members to organize our programs and events and help advance the mission of YNPN in and around Milwaukee.
Committee participation is a great opportunity to build your resume, meet new people and support the Milwaukee nonprofit community. Benefits of committee membership include a chance to build personal and professional skills, gain leadership experience and increase your involvement in the community.

Events Committee
The Events Committee collaborates on, plans and executes a variety of events to inform and educate YNPN Milwaukee members and the Greater Milwaukee community. This committee is also responsible for annual Kick-Off event. Learn more about our events.
Fund Development & Scholarship Committee
The Scholarship Committee oversees YNPN Milwaukee’s graduate scholarship – the Ilona Nicole Memorial Scholarship for Graduate Education. Responsibilities include securing funding and promoting the scholarship as well as determining eligibility and selecting recipients for the scholarship.
The Fund Development committee focuses on securing and growing funding for YNPN Milwaukee’s valuable programming and events. The committee’s strategic goals include developing and implementing a fund development plan with a focus on sponsorships and grants.
Marketing Committee
The Marketing Committee promotes YNPN to members and to the Greater Milwaukee nonprofit community through marketing and public relations activities. The committee maintains the YNPN website, and social media accounts, publishes the organization’s newsletters and eBulletins, and oversees branding initiatives and media relations with local news outlets.
Membership Committee
The Membership Committee focuses on developing an active and engaged membership base. Strategic priorities include engagement and retention of individuals and nonprofit organizations as members, recruitment of new individual and organizational members and adding value to YNPN Milwaukee memberships.
Governance Committee
The Governance Committee focuses on developing the board to create a team that will effectively manage the organization. The committee works on the recruitment process of new directors as well as working with current and renewing directors.
