Nonprofit organizations depend on the financial support of foundations, corporations, and individuals to achieve their missions. Because of this dynamic, organizations often feel like they have to put their best foot forward with funders, and can’t be completely honest about their limitations, most urgent needs, and current challenges.
This members-exclusive event aims to help open up honest conversations between nonprofit organizations and the philanthropic sector. Each fall, YNPN Milwaukee hosts a panel of funder leaders as they discuss their giving philosophy, what they look for in winning grant proposals, and their ideas about how we can navigate the complex power dynamic inherent in fundraising.
