Executive Director, Urban Economic Development Association of WI (UEDA)
Kristi has been with UEDA since 2006 and has over 16 years of experience working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment focused on nonprofit and community development; she was promoted to Executive Director by the Board of Directors in July 2015.
Her skills include collaborative project management, meeting facilitation, data collection/evaluation, event/workshop coordination, technology management and internal/external communications. She provides lead support for major initiatives such as Take Root Milwaukee, Food Enterprise Development Network, technical assistance and UEDA’s membership and event activities.
She has a Master of Science degree in Urban Studies and graduate certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee; her undergraduate degree is in English and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, tennis, live music and theater and exploring Milwaukee’s neighborhoods.
