YNPN Milwaukee is led by an an all-volunteer Board. Board members are young professionals working in or volunteering for the nonprofit sector or supporting agencies. With broad backgrounds of experience and passion, YNPN Board members are dedicated to cementing YNPN’s role as a vital part of the Milwaukee nonprofit community.

Holly McCoy, MA
Interim Executive Director, Milwaukee Achiever Literacy Services

By day, an Interim Executive Director at Milwaukee Achiever... 
Holly helps foster community partnerships through her outreach efforts, and frequently speaks on adult literacy issues and the adult literacy services available within Milwaukee. Holly graduated from Alverno College with her BA in English and Secondary Education, and received her MA in Adult Education and Organizational Development in December 2015. Holly serves on several community committees related to adult literacy and workforce development, President of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network, is co-chair of the Employment Strategy Team in partnership with the Department of Corrections and the Center for Self Sufficiency, and volunteers as the Weekend College Orientation Leader and external assessor for Alverno College.

Fun Fact: Holly says that The Walking Dead makes her life complete!

Vice President, Membership Chair + Marketing Co-Chair

Bradley C. Fisher
Marketing Coordinator, Henricksen

Bradley, a for-profit professional, is a lifelong volunteer who has a passion for the nonprofit sector. Bradley has been a member of YNPN Milwaukee's Board of Directors since March 2013, serving first as Marketing Chair, and is currently YNPN Milwaukee's Membership Chair and Board Vice President. In addition, he serves as an adviser to the marketing and mentorship committees and works to connect the efforts of all of YNPN Milwaukee's committees to best serve out the mission of YNPN locally. In addition to his roles at YNPN Milwaukee, Bradley is Henricksen's Marketing Coordinator serving the Wisconsin marketplace where he oversees business to business marketing efforts, proposals, presentations and events for clients and the architecture and design communities in Wisconsin. Bradley is also an undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he is pursuing his Bachelors Degree in Marketing Management. Bradley has also served as a volunteer with Historic Milwaukee, Inc., GermanFest Milwaukee, Briggs + Al's Run/Walk for Children's Hospital, and the Wisconsin Interior Design Career Day program. 

Did you know? Bradley has served as not one, but two, of the Klement's Racing Sausages - Hot Dog and Chorizo! He has also mascotted as Clifford the Big Red Dog and the Easter Bunny!

Brittany Sassaman
Business Manager, Strong Blocks 

Brittany is YNPN Milwaukee's Board Treasurer. She graduated with a degree in Marketing from Northern Illinois University, with an emphasis in Interactive Marketing. Since graduation, she has practiced in the fields of Marketing and Small Business Office Administration. In her current role as Business Manager at Strong Blocks, Brittany is responsible for accounts payable and receivable, website and content marketing, and information and data management. Brittany has a strong interest in personal finance and real estate investing.

Karen Boehme
Engagement Consultant, Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast

Karen joined YNPN Milwaukee in the spring of 2013, getting involved as a member of the Events Committee. By the end of the year, she was the committee co-chair, and joined the Board in January of 2014. Karen currently serves as the National Liaison between YNPN Milwaukee and our national organization.

Karen has been involved in the nonprofit sector her entire life, being raised to volunteer, participate in civic engagement, and to give back to the community. She is a "lifetime" member of Girl Scouts, having been a girl member for 12 years, and volunteering for a number of years, before working for them professionally. Her career in the nonprofit sector began with Girl Scouts almost 12 years ago, when she moved back to southeast Wisconsin after living away for 16 years. She is currently a Membership Manager for Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast, working with dedicated adult volunteers who fulfill the mission of Girl Scouts - to build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.

Board Member + Events Co-Chair

Maddy Riordan
Ready to Read Early Literacy Consultant, Milwaukee Public Library

Maddy is YNPN Milwaukee's Events Committee Co-Chair. In this role, she co-manages YNPN Milwaukee's events committee. As co-chair Maddy provides direction for programming, sets program goals and manages pre- and day-of event logistics alongside her team and co-chair. 

Maddy also is a graduate student at the University of Wiscosnin-Milwaukee, where she is studying both Urban Studies and Nonprofit Management and Leadership. 

In addition to her role with YNPN's Board, Maddy also sits on the Riverwest Neighborhood Association Board of Directors.

Meagan Grosskreutz
Psychotherapist, Integrative Psyche + Applied Therapies and Wellness Center

Meagan has been connected to the nonprofit sector since 2007. Most of her experience has been working with disability related nonprofit organizations. She has worked with IndependenceFirst, Easter Seals of Southeast Wisconsin, Spina Bifida Wisconsin and Broadscope Disability Services. Being a board member of YNPN of Milwaukee allows Megan to stay connected with the nonprofit community that has always been an important part of her life. 

Fun Fact: Meagan enjoys spending her time with family and friends bowling or attending Milwaukee Wave indoor soccer games.

Anna Bierer
Northeast Regional Literacy Consultant, Wisconsin Literacy, Inc.

Anna has been involved with nonprofits in Wisconsin since 2001. Anna supports adult and family literacy programs as the Northeast Regional Literacy Consultant for Wisconsin Literacy, Inc.  Past experience includes serving as the Director of Programs at Neighborhood House of Milwaukee where her focus was on integrating programs to most effectively support individuals, families and the community.  Anna is proud to be a part of many committees and coalitions focused around education of children, youth, families and refugees in Milwaukee and throughout Wisconsin.

Vanessa Vasquez
Coordinator, School of Pre-College Education, Milwaukee Area Technical College

Vanessa Vasquez is a double alumna of Alverno College ’12 ’15. She is a passionate and dedicated professional with a focus in higher education and nonprofits. Vanessa is an active board member of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network-Greater Milwaukee Chapter, recently completed the United Way Project LEAD - Leadership, Effectiveness and Diversity program and is currently enrolled in Future Milwaukee. She strives to be a positive mentor and community role model determined to build supportive and diverse learning communities on and off a college campus.

Vanessa is a visible and active community advocate seeking to strengthen community relations with the Hispanic community. Vanessa has dedicated her career to the advancement of Hispanic students in higher education and serves as a mentor and advocate for their success. She served as the 2013-2014 Ambassador representing the Wisconsin Hispanic Scholarship Foundation and promoting education and leadership in the Hispanic community.

Alissa Fiorentino
Project Professional, Executive Director, Inc. 

Alissa serves as both a member of YNPN Milwaukee's Board of Directors, as well as on the Membership Committee, specializing in new member recruitment. She holds a Bachelors in Business Administration and Management and Spanish Language and Literature from Valparaiso University in northwest Indiana. Alissa also is active with the Women for MACC annual fundraising gala. Alissa always knew she wanted to use her business degree to serve the nonprofit sector and she looks forward to giving back to the Milwaukee community. 

Fun Fact: Alissa lived in Chile for a year!

Clare daSilva
Annual Fund Manager, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra

Clare holds a number of roles within YNPN Milwaukee, including Board Member, Member Steward on the Membership Committee, and as a member of YNPN Milwaukee's Fund Development team. In addition to her role at the MSO and YNPN Milwaukee, she is also a member of Milwaukee Forum. Clare is new to Milwaukee, having previously served as Associate Development Manager at the Dallas Contemporary. She is a graduate of the University of Dallas, where she majored in English and Art History.

Dana Zwick
Billing Coordinator, Catapult Learning 

Dana serves on YNPN Milwaukee's Board and Fund Development team. Dana's role within the Fund Development team is to liaise between the Marketing and Fund Development teams to provide access to resources, solicit donations, advocate for and prioritize funding requests made by the Marketing team. Prior to moving to Milwaukee, Dana served as a AmeriCorps member at Public Allies in Chicago and as a Crew Leader at the DuPage Habitat for Humanity. She is also a past member of YNPN Chicago. Dana holds a Bachelors Degree in International Business from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
